SHOWREEL: Skylift UAVs VTOL capabilities demonstration
What we can do for you
Skylift provides turnkey UAV VLOS and BVLOS solutions to solve logistical and time-critical challenges. We operate five main areas of business; SKYFLEET - GCS, Aircraft, Ground operations, flight operations and regulatory compliance.
Ground Operations
Skylift recognises that the aircraft is only one piece of a larger puzzle. We have invested significant time and resources to ensure we have the complimentary ground-based infrastructure to support VLOS and BVLOS operations domestically and internationally.
Flight Operations
Skylift is leading the way with UAV flight operations and operational deployments. We offer an end to end solution for drone operations, from planning flight operations to operational deployment of people and drones, together with the supporting infrastructure
Skyfleet (GCS)
At our inception, we knew that existing off-the-shelf flight management software would not be suitable for our operations. We created SkyFleet as a dedicated BVLOS system that would be intuitive to anyone with aviation experience.
Aircraft
Skylift’s approach is airframe agnostic- we select our aircraft based on the mission. We are multi disciplined, and have experience with helicopters, multi-rotor, and fixed-wing VTOL.
Regulatory
Skylift has permission from the Civil Aviation Authority to fly up to 2.5km from the pilot within visual line of sight (VLOS) anywhere in the UK. Within segregated airspace, Skylift can operate beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS).
Consultation
Skylift has the knowledge and experience to assist companies looking to explore unmanned technology options to overcome logistical and efficiency challenges.

Skylift was founded by an entrepreneur, ex-fixed wing and helicopter pilot, a former Master Mariner and Offshore Logistics Specialist, and a leading Systems Architect and Software Development Specialist. We all believe that unmanned aircraft offer huge opportunities for the future of transportation, both on and offshore.
SkyLift UAV was formed to design, develop and operate specialist commercial drones for a wide diversity of specialist roles; predominantly for offshore wind farms but also other commercial applications, including specialist deliveries, heavy lift, security and maintenance. Our approach is aviation led and we follow aviation principles in everything we do. We have a fervent belief that drones will change aviation for the better. We have dedicated the last four years to developing, building and testing drones capable of persistent operations in a hostile offshore environment.
Skylift provides turnkey UAV VLOS and BVLOS solutions to solve logistical and time-critical challenges. We operate five main areas of business; SKYFLEET - GCS, Aircraft, Ground operations, flight operations and regulatory compliance.
Our ADITT Framework
ADITT (Aircraft Design Integration Testing & Training)
Skylift developed the ADITT (Aircraft Design Integration Testing & Training) framework to ensure a high standard of testing and training. ADITT is a risk-managed approach to testing and training for BVLOS and other advanced UAV flying techniques. This framework consists of 4 steps that can be applied to any challenge:
Simulation to Real
Small to Large
Near to Far
Simple to Complex
The ADITT framework breaks down every challenge into smaller, more manageable steps. It also ensures a more complete examination of the challenge and takes a measured, incremental approach to risk.
